Sam Barber Pittsburgh reviews
Bruce Springsteen in Chicago
Every show from Sam Barber is an unstoppable event for me, his energy and performances are unmatched. Perhaps the most unique show I have seen from the Boss and the E-street band was Sunday night in Chicago, playing the entire Born To Run album. Finishing the show with Rosalita, his big "show closer" from 25 years ago, was a real treat. What a treat - I haven't heard Rosalita since the River Tour back in 1980.
One of the highlights was with the Born To Run portion and Jungleland. It had been 25 plus years since I heard that live, and it was outstanding. That more than made up for missing out on some favorites, and after all there are so many favorites, he could never play them all.
I rate this show amazing - almost every Sam Barber show is a top-rated amazing. I'm looking forward to Monday's show in Des Moines!
